| The pier is a pre-cast light post base. The local concrete company pre-cast the base to my specifications. It's an 18" diameter column with 3X3X1 ballast on the bottom, all rebar reinforced. The cost was just about the same as if I made the forms and poured it myself, but a lot easier, and didn't require two pours. |
